  • Big 75th anniversary celebration and general meeting

    The 75th anniversary celebration took place the evening before in Frankfurt at the Palais Thurn und Taxis on June 6th and 7th, 2024. The new president Christian Ruben and managing director Jen Loa confidently moderated both days and received much applause for the planning, organization and implementation of both days. The evening before, Dr. Carl Naughton gave an excellent guest lecture on AQ, adaptive intelligence. On the day of the general meeting, the focus was on the “future” for companies and the industry. Here Dr. Pero Micic on 8 characteristics of future-proof companies and Prof. Dr.Dr.h.c. Monika Schnitzer about the turning point and the economic perspective for the economy. This inspiring and entertaining lecture attracted great interest from the participants.

  • 16 May 2024. The host "Bayern LB" and the BDL organised the general meeting

    The members' meeting took place at BayernLB in Munich. As always, the meeting was a meeting point for members of both the leasing companies and the associate members. The exchange of information and ideas was excellent. As always, the cosy part took place the evening before. This time at the Literaturhaus (Brasserie OskarMaria). The Munich flair contributed to a successful evening and a great atmosphere.

  • March 2024 / CIC becomes member of TSS Group

    CIC Software GmbH is the first software company for complex financial services in the DACH region to join the Total Specific Group (TSS). The group of companies from the Netherlands specialises in industry software and currently unites 173 companies in 27 countries. Under the motto "Software for Life", the continued existence of CIC is secured for the coming decades. CIC also benefits from TSS's enormous network.

  • General Meeting of the Austrian Leasing Association on 07/03/2024

    The VÖL General Assembly took place on 7 March 2024 in Windischgarsten at the Resort Dilly. As always, the meeting was very interesting thanks to the presentations by VÖL's specialist departments. In particular, the very positive development of leasing in Austria gave the event a positive atmosphere. In addition to several honours, the new president of the association, Dr. Alexander Nekolar, was elected. Dr Michael Steiner received the golden badge of honour. Afterwards, at the invitation of the association, a dinner was held with many interesting and intensive discussions. The following day, the traditional ski race was held on the Wurzer Alm.

  • SLV Digital Leasing and innovations for the financial business

    On 17 November 2023, the 6th Digital Day took place in Zurich at the SIX Convention Point. It was another excellent event with interesting presentations in the state-of-the-art SIX Conference Centre. With Christa Rigozzi, the moderation of the individual presentations and the Q&A sessions reached a new level. This gave the event the necessary flavour. AI was the dominant topic here. Our partner X-Lease was able to present the "free" calculator for leasing companies. The autumn general meeting took place beforehand.

  • 45th General Meeting of the BDL in Berlin

    The 45th General Assembly took place in Berlin on 9 November 2023. One of the core topics this time was "ESG" in the context of the leasing and financing industry. In addition to the interesting topics, it was, as always, an ideal opportunity to enter into dialogue with our customers. The "Leasingtreff" took place in the "Ballhaus" the evening before. Here we were able to talk to many interested parties and customers about the latest topics, especially AI.

  • VÖL Leasing-Forum 2023, IFA Lounge Vienna

    14.09.2023. We were able to present the topic of AI to a packed audience at the Austrian Leasing Forum. The presentation "AI in the leasing industry - first steps and outlook" was very well received, especially as we were able to show not only PowerPoint slides but also a live demo of AI via ChatGPT. We would like to thank the participants for their attendance and look forward to the next pitch at the Leasing Forum in Vienna.

  • VÖL Leasing-Forum 2022, Erste-Bank Forum

    The annual leasing forum took place in Vienna on September 8th, 2022. We were able to present our contribution with the topic "never change a running system ???" perform and show the auditorium our options for data migration. In addition, we presented our new product, the CICone/Next. The evolutionary further development of our successful CICone product.

  • Leasing Branch Meeting in Erfurt

    On May 18, 2022, the leasing industry meeting, organized and carried out by the BDL, took place in Erfurt. In addition to the interesting topics and lectures, it was again possible to meet the decision-makers in the leasing industry in person and to discuss some topics in dialogue. We were also able to address the issues of the future with numerous customers. The Deputy Prime Minister of Thuringia, Georg Maier, was also present at the 42nd General Assembly, and was welcomed by President Kai Ostermann and Managing Director Claudia Conen.

  • Ordinary General Assembly of the Swiss Leasing Association

    The annual general meeting of the Swiss Leasing Association took place on May 17th at Motorworld Manufaktur in Kempthal (Switzerland). In a very "automobile" environment, the other areas of leasing in Switzerland were of course also examined. https://www.thevalley.ch/de/about-us/motorworld As always, Mr. Brändli, the president of the association, led the event with aplomb. Finally, Romano Ramanti gave a lecture on the topic of cybersecurity - an impressive and scary lecture ;)
